Living Building Challenge

With so many tools and certifications available in any given region, how do we choose which one to use? 15 years into LEED, most project teams are able to meet minimum certification without doing anything special. Plus, CalGreen and LEED are parallel in most respects. So, if LEED is becoming code minimum (or as architects like to say, barely legal), what's the next goal?
